Richard is a renowned Civil Engineer with over twenty years-experience in Civil construction. Having started out as a Contracts and Operations Manager, Richard brings not only his technical engineering knowledge but also his practical experience to delivering large projects. He has successfully built and lead high performing teams and has a reputation that includes sound technical knowledge and effective management techniques.

ABOUT JOE

Joe has been in Civil construction since 1987 and has over 31 years management and business experience leading and developing teams and meeting growth targets.

During his career, Joe has had significant input into a large number of civil construction projects, all of which have met budget, time, safety and quality standards, including SH2 Watchman Road and the construction of heavy-duty pavements for Napier Port.

Aaron is a well known and respected member of the Infrastructure Industry, with over 22 years of experience and knowledge in Civil and Pipeline Construction and Maintenance. He has a vast amount of experience in 3 waters infrastructure, and was heavily involved in the 2016 Havelock North Water Crisis. His lead by example approach has been instrumental in building and leading high performing teams.

With over 40 years of experience, Bruce has a wealth of civil engineering knowledge and has been instrumental in the successful delivery of many high value projects across New Zealand and Australia. Bruce is an expert at interpreting programme works and plan specifications, and manages project budgets and variations to ensure that our works are delivered cost-efficiently for clients.

Highly motivated, determined and energetic, Louis performs well under pressure which is crucial in his role as Project Manager. With over 22 years in the construction industry, Louis has a wealth of experience in a wide range of Roading, Civil and Bulk Earthwork projects. Louis is a responsive and adaptable leader with strong communication skills, devising new solutions to reach a mutual goal. A strong self motivation is passed down to those in his team with his value of ‘leading by example’.

Starting as an apprentice Plumber and Drainlayer in 1990, Mark Tremain has over 30 years worth of experience delving into the inner workings of plumbing and infrastructure. Previously the director of a water and irrigation company, Mark is not only a business man but is highly community focused with a passion for people, problem solving and years of hands on experience.

Eon’s civil construction career started with a diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of South Africa, which was followed by a National Diploma in Civil Engineering in New Zealand. He held a number of roles at Higgins Contracting including Contracts and Operations Manager, as well as Surveyor roles in South Africa.

ABOUT BEN

Ben is a young professional in Civil Engineering with three years of experience. Currently pursuing his Civil Engineering Diploma, he has already made significant contributions, including assisting in managing maintenance contracts and undertaking project management for housing developments. Ben's strong communication and problem solving skills make him an effective collaborator on-site. He is particularly interested in roading pavements and earthworks, and looks forward to expanding his expertise through upcoming projects with HBC&I.

ABOUT CAMPBELL

Campbell has over eight years’ experience working across a range of services, and completed his diploma in Civil Engineering at NZIHT in 2017. Most recently Campbell has been working as Engineer’s Representative on Central Hawke’s Bay District Council’s PGF Programme on various projects, including MSQA for bridge strengthening, slow vehicle bays, earthworks, road retreats and pavement construction.

With over 12 years experience in the civil contracting industry, John has worked on surveying projects involving earthworks, road construction and utilities installation. With a large amount of experience in multiple technologies including Leica, Topcon, Trimble surveying instruments and machine control, 12d model and AutoCAD software, John’s knowledge provides a seamless experience for construction to take place.

Andrew has been a mainstay in the Construction Business for over 18 years now. He started his career as a Carpenter and from there moved into the office in a Quantity Surveyor role. He made the move to Hawke’s Bay Construction as Managing Director in 2020.

Cam joined the real estate industry in 2009. Previous to this he worked in law after completing his Law and Commerce Degrees at Otago University. Since then, Cam and Simon have been business partners jointly running their real estate businesses and now their property and development business. Cam has always had a strong interest in property and development.

Simon is best known as a Managing Partner of the Tremain Real Estate Group. The head office operates out of the Hawke’s Bay, with offices from the Bay of Plenty down to the Wairarapa. Simon has always had a strong interest in property investment and development. He has been a commercial property owner for over 20 years.
